For beginners…Let’s discuss on tracking the visitors of our blogs with these easy to learn tools . (Not that easy but eventually if you use it every time you’ll learn how to.) Of course you want to know where your visitors come from and how they got into your blog, with these tools you will know everything.
I’ll break it down to you with their basic features, but only for tracking visitors. We can discuss the other features like getting the CPC or so on the future.
1.) Google Analytics

Tracks the following:
- -new and returning visitors
- -what browser visitors use
- -visitors by region
- -traffic sources (Direct, Search engines, referring sites)
- -monthly, weekly, and daily visitors
- -Average TOS (time on site)
- -Bounce rate on pages (the exits on the page)
- -Page visits and pageviews
- -Keywords used
2.) Trakkboard

- -Software
- -Very easy to setup
Tracks the following:
- -new and returning visitors
- -traffic sources
- -monthly, weekly, and daily visitors
- -Bounce rate on pages (the exits on the page)
- -Page visits and pageviews
- -Keywords used
3.) Clicktracks
- -Purchase (http://www.clicktracks.com/products/pro/index.php)
- -Software
- -It’s not that easy to use but amazing tool to track visitors
Tracks the following:
- -new and returning visitors
- -what browser visitors use
- -visitors by region
- -traffic sources (Direct, Search engines, referring sites)
- -monthly, weekly, and daily visitors
- -Average TOS (time on site)
- -Bounce rate on pages (the exits on the page)
- -Page visits and pageviews
- -Keywords used
- -VERY DETAILED!

These are just the basic features that these tools have. If you master using these tools, you might discover more cool features useful to track visitors on your blog. I maybe using this tools for quite a while now but I am not an expert of these yet, just the basics because they are the most important things to learn.
