Close Fight of Two Nations in Women’s World Cup

Sweden and USASweden and USA are fighting for top rank in their group but do not expect lots of goals.

Two of the most important nations in the game of women will slug it out in Wolfsburg as Sweden get on USA.  Both have maximum points after their first two games and both have yet to give in so something is going to have to give.

Former FIFA Rankings world number one Sweden has went down to fifth having been seized at the top by the U.S.  The USA are on an unbelievable run of shape winning 27 of the previous 30 internationals are favorites to victory again at 1.57.

America might have a small advantage as they are instructed by Swedish legend Pia Sunhage. She played over 100 times for her nation and was on the losing side when the nations moved in the 1991 World Cup.

Sweden has deprived evidence against the States trailing all three of the games in World Cup competition. They too met more recently last March in the Algarve Cup and again America ran out 2-0 champions.

America has the greater goal difference and a goalless draw will propel during the quarter-finals as group winners. A 0-0 stalemate is dealing at 11.0 with the draw at 3.65. Both teams have reserved clean sheets in their opening games and the last three games among the states have gone under 2.5 goals.
