David Beckham might not be able to spend time with Prince William and Kate Middleton throughout their three-day visit to California next week for the reason of football obligations.
David Beckham was in Los Angeles downtown to expose a latest team jersey LA Galaxy said that he might not be capable to meet Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, the newly-wed royal couple on July 8.
Beckham said, “Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be able to make it just because I have a game the night after, so I’m not allowed to go to events the night before a game.”
“They are here for a couple days and they’re scheduled is always so rammed, so, but we’ll see. Maybe we will get to see them for five minutes just to say hello, a bit of a shame not to see them while they are here.”
Beckham talked about the significance of the Fourth of July, not only as an US holiday, but as well what it denotes to him and his wife, Victoria Beckham. He said, “You know, it’s a big day for everyone in this country, people in the country, such a special day. And obviously we got married on the Fourth of July, 12 years ago, Monday, so it’s a special day for us, it always has been and always will be.”
The Galaxy will wear their jerseys for the first time on the field against the Seattle Sounders.
