Rafael Nadal and Rogers Federer, the greatest players of all time, will play their next tournament in Cincinnati Open, which will start from August 14, 2011.
Both of them have created early exit from the continuing 2011 Rogers Cup tournament in this week. The Spaniard had lost to World No. 41 ranked Ivan Dodig in the next round with a 6-1, 7-6 and 7-6 on Wednesday at Uniprix Stadium. It is very difficult to lose the competition, where it was second successive defeat in this season, after Wimbledon final lost to World No. 1 Novak Diokovic, according to Nadal.
Roger Federer, the 16-time Grand Slam champion defeated by the Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in three sets with a 7-6 (7/3), 4-6 and 6-1. The Swiss maestro has lost second consecutive match to Tsonga, after Wimbledon quarter final defeat in tough five sets. Federer has praised on Tsonga’s performance on Thursday in Montreal, after thrashing him from Montreal Masters.
Nadal will start the training session from Friday for upcoming Cincinnati Open and will develop his performance before heading to US Open in New York. However, Federer will perform in Montreal, before going to Cincinnati and will go back strongly for next tournament.
