Buffalo Sabres are the newest team to hold the privileges to defenseman Christian Ehrhoff, who is about to be turned into an unrestricted agent at noon on Friday.
The New York Islanders acquired Ehrhoff’s privileges from the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday for a fourth-round pick in the 2012 Entry Draft, although failed to discuss a latest agreement with him and engineered a deal with the Sabres to get fourth-round pick of Bufallo in 2012.
