Reigning “American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery has a good way to go to match up the profession of Carrie Underwood in country music.
However in the CMA Awards on Wednesday, he just could have surpassed on his “Idol” forerunner in the live-performance section
Hosting the awards, Underwood and Brad Paisley, performed their own hit song “Remind Me” sad to say but it wasn’t Underwood’s best moment in time. She had trouble a bit with a few of the higher notes and was not the super-polished artist we have now anticipate her to be.
Given, she’d a lot on the plate, and that we can probably chalk it up to as being a tiny bobble in a frantic evening. However her part of “Remind Me” seemed somewhat off.
McCreery had the stage a short while after to perform “Walk in the Country” coming from his very first album “Clear As Day.” It isn’t a super-challenging singing, yet he managed the large stage before what exactly are without doubt his musical idols.
