Earning a PageRank is a part of my goals when I started blogging. I was aware I can’t earn this with just months or even a year. There is so much needed to be done, commenting on blogs, backlink building, and the most important is relationship building. To be honest I have never done enough of these, I started commenting on blogs one month ago, and backlink building is when I only have an idle time. Sometimes the laziness knocks me out (lol)

Yesterday, my friend PM’ed me saying my blog has a PR of 3. I was surprised and quickly checked, I thought there is just an error or what co’z sometimes it happens on my browser but when I asked some of my friends to check…It really did have a PR of 3!

Isn’t that amazing? I was expecting in a year or two I’ll be earning a PR of 1 or not but after just 5 months of half hardwork and half slacking (lol) I earned 3 PR’s.

Well this is it for now, I’ll be posting some new updates for beginners, well of course not just for beginners but for everyone. And don’t forget my other blog. It’s a PR5 blogspot blog earning a good traffic ranging from 5000 to 10,000+ unique hits a month. (I got 23,000 last month – you can also sponsor there for $3 a month)

Have a prosperous 2010 to each and everyone!

As a beginner, I never thought of the issues running around concerning outbound links. Some bloggers say it’s bad to link out because it reduces your google pagerank, Daniel Scocco from Daily Blog Tips illustrates this like the picture shown below

Now, about this issue I read an article last night from DBT (Daily Blogging Tips by Daniel Scocco) and it was really great. He explained the truth behind linking out has no negative effect on blogs and not leaking out your Google Pagerank.

He explained it like this:
A Pagerank of a page is only affected by the quality of the links coming in and not by the outgoing ones. If you link to a thousand of sites whether good or bad, it might get flagged as spam and will not be indexed, but it has nothing to do with the Pagerank, it will remain intact.

You can read some of his explanations here.(http://www.dailyblogtips.com/linking-out-google-pagerank/)

What gave the interest and made me believe about this linking out stuff won’t affect PR’s is that he said there are plenty of pages out there having dozens of links and yet they still rank at the top position of the Google’s search engine result pages for competitive keywords.

So if you ever feared of linking out would leak your PageRank then forget about that.

Thanks for reading and keep coming back for more
