This week, it appears that Tiger Woods has carried anything he wants to the Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio.
Tiger is prepared after long layoff.
In an interview, Woods said that his knee and Achilles have not felt this fine in a long time. He said, “I’m excited to compete.”
When Tiger was asked what still motivates him about golf, he said to go out “and beat these boys. That’s fun. That’s fun.”
He said, “I’m here to try and win a golf tournament.”
So far, Woods has just had six starts this year and has not won since the Australian Master in 2009.
It seems like Woods has a bit of an uphill climb this week and many might be looking a week in advance to the PGA Championship, the final major of the year. But Woods has been in the wonderful business for near to two decades.
