Adding the WBA title of Wladimir Klitschko heavyweight haul Saturday, he won a lopsided 12-round decision over David Haye.
Klitschko ruled from the opening bell, increasing to 17-2 in title bouts, but never knocked Haye down.
Klitschko with 56-3 said, “He was scared to fight me. He was super defensive.”
The triumph in a rain-soaked football stadium in Hamburg, Germany means Klitschko and his brother Vitali hold the entire three major heavyweight titles. Wladimir previously had the IBF title and minor WBO, IBO belts, while Vitali was the WBC winner.
The entire three judges awarded it to Klitschko, 117-109, 118-108 and 116-110.
Haye with 25-2 said he hurt a toe on his right foot in training and “couldn’t give everything I needed to. It was frustrating.”
